A team of experienced professionals, who have specialized in different fishing styles work as the guides here in Lapinkoski, and they take joy in seeing your success and having fun with fishing. Even though the heart of our action is centered around Simojoki fishing and recreation area of Lapinkoski works as a base for other great river, lake and ocean fishing destinations, which are all within a day-trip distance from Lapinkoski. Our guide services extends to the whole area of Sea Lapland including Torniojoki. You have also a great chance to upgrade your personal fishing-records with our guides. In summer of 2023 the biggest salmon fished from Simojoki weighed 18.4KG, and the biggest pike caught in Finland was fished from a nearby watershed. Pike weighed 18.8KG.
In addition, you can find guide services for aurora borealis sighting and trekking trips through the beautiful nature trails during autumn and winter. For example, Martimojärvi in Martimomaa’s marsh protection area is amazing place for hiking, fishing or go to see aurora borealis. Would you like to learn more about a salmon fishing? We arrange fly fishing courses every year as both private lessons and ready-made course packages. Popular fly-fishing courses are a yearly tradition here at Lapinkoski and they are usually organized at the beginning of the fishing season and quickly reserved at their full capacity. Teachers at the course are experienced fly-fishing experts with whom you can easily grasp the right throwing techniques. We also train more experience fly fisher to iron-out their techniques. We use the high-quality equipment from Guideline, Hardy and Greys in our courses.
You can find the products tested by our guides from our webstore for either as rental or for you to purchase for yourself. WE are in collaboration with many fishing equipment manufacturers and through us you’ll get everything you need for fly- and reel fishing. You can find products by these brands from our store: Hardy, Guideline, Greays, Royal Wulf, Daiwa, Rapala, Mepps or Sufix and Asso. We rent and sell products that we ourselves trust, with a competitive price! We also rent premade riverboat-packages with trailers for fishermen. You can find for example salmon fishing canoes and sit-on-top fishing- and camping kayaks designed for Simojoki and its vicinity from the store!
